Betcha didn't know that August is "Happiness Happens Month" did you? Well, it is (do a Google search if you don't believe me!), and Musical Mondays is celebrating. This week's theme is Happiness. Now, that could be a song about happiness, a song that has a happy feel to it, or even just any song that makes you happy -- so this should be an exceptionally easy theme to match.

This week's theme is flowers. This is actually a follow-up to April's "Rain" theme in that of course April showers bring May flowers. Except in Texas. Where they bring more showers, which is nice because we can usually look forward to a hot, dry summer. But that's neither here nor there. So, pick out a song that is either about flowers, mentions flowers, or makes you think of flowers, and post it. OR be a rebel and don't go with the theme, which is also perfectly acceptable. Hey, it's your blog, I'm just here for the ideas.

Pick a song. If you need some help in choosing a song, I will post a theme for each week. You can find the upcoming themes list in the sidebar to the right. Of course, choosing a song to fit the theme is not mandatory, and you can always post any song that strikes your fancy.
Post the song.
Post the lyrics.
Plug the song into Pandora (or any similar service) as a new station and list the first five songs (other than the one you picked) that it spits out.
Post your link here.

Edit 2/11/08: I've just been made aware that Pandora is not available outside the US. My apologies! If you can't use Pandora, try Last FM. There you can only put in the artist, rather than the song, but it's otherwise the same idea. If anyone has any other suggestions for similar sites, please let me know.
